First Prize: The first prize goes to Chintan's photograph of trekkers playing in the snow.We feel this photo captures life on a trek very well, with trekkers having a lot of fun. There is a lot of life in the photo. We thought the photographer had an exceptional sense of timing to capture the joyous moment. Congratulations Chintan!
Second Prize: The second prize goes to Saritha's capture of the couple enjoying a romantic moment amidst a fairy tale setting. The photographer has captured a lovely story and our scores go for this capture.
Third Prize: The third prize goes to Nikhil Bhagawat's picture of snowy winter landscape in sunlight. The photographer has captured the texture of snow and the lighting well.

Winter Camp photo contest
Here are the shortlisted 8 best photos of the Kothi Winter Camp photo contest. Trekkers were asked to submit their best photos from the trek for the contest.
The judges, Saurabh Chatterjee and Neelima Vallangi, will now run through these photos and choose one among them as the winner. One of the pleasures of life is playing with snow. Even adults become kids. Chintan captures the moment of joy gay abandon.
Sometimes there is nothing as beautiful as fresh snow falling. Chintan captures the mood against the backdrop of the Indiahikes Kothi training centre.
Jigar captures the various hues of fresh snow. Here, snow lying around apple trees give readers an idea of the setting of the winter camp.
Trekkers snaking through shin high snow is captured by Manohar with the sunlight in front – a difficult task executed well.
